Flare’s First Show as Director in 3 years – on the Goodhandy’s Stage
Thursday, January 4th, 2007King Flare, the reigning Mr. Goodhandy’s 2007, is directing his first show in Toronto in three years, and we are proud to say that this show will be on the Goodhandy’s stage.
The show is the Mr. Goodhandy’s Valentine’s Day Show, and it will be starring 5 of the contestants from the first annual Mr. Goodhandy’s Pageant. This show occur on Friday February 9th, 2007, Doors open at 9:00pm, Show starts at 10:30pm, and cover charge is $5.
After the show, you can get closer to your favorite performers by getting them to do $3 lap dances (using “Drag Dollars”)
For those who are not familiar with King Flare, he is one of the pioneers of the Drag King scene in Toronto, and is internationally recognized. For his own reasons, he stopped producing Toronto shows about 3 years ago, but he was inspired after Goodhandy’s opened up to get back into things!
Also of note: The show will be hosted by none other than Deb “Dirk” Pearce. This show is bound to be sold out, so arrive early! There are no advance tickets, it is first-come, first-serve.
