Advance ticket sales are now closed for New Year’s Eve, so I want to explain clearly how it will work tonight in terms of priority / line-up / etc.

1. Doors open at 9pm. Between 9pm and 10pm, we will admit advance ticket-holders only, as well as we will sell any remaining tickets (there are still about 75 tickets left).

2. At 10pm, if we have sold out and are at capacity, then any advance ticketholders will get admitted first before others lining up.

3. Note: If you arrive too late but you purchased a ticket, don’t worry, we are not trying to shaft you, you can get a refund, just ask at the door.

All this said, while I hope it is a jam-packed night, I also sincerely hope that somehow we can fit everyone in, and nobody is left out in the cold!!!

And finally, make sure you relax, and have a nice big meal before you come on down – I know the tendency on New Year’s Eve is to drink your faces off, so pace yourself out so we can all enjoy the night better!

Don’t delay getting your New Year’s Eve tickets in advance – I know there are at least 200 people who we could consider “regulars” here, and we hope most of you are going to want to spend the New Year’s at Goodhandy’s.

So ask for tickets at the main bar tonight, only $10.

Sorry, I made a couple mistakes on the Event Calendar page and just noticed.

There is no Tranaoke tonight because of the special King and Trans Boy Mega-Show – this show starts at 11pm, not at midnight as usual. I suspect that we will have to meet somewhere in the middle and start at 1130pm, as I just made the change on the website now.

The Show is called “A King’s Christmas” and features around 10 Drag King, Trans Guy and Burlesque Babe performers. It starts early because we are breaking it into 2 acts.

There is no cover for this show, so hopefully that helps encourage you all to come out and have a nice Christmas with the Kings. We don’t even enforce a “drink minimum”, so you have no excuse if you’ve spent all your money on presents, just come on in and enjoy yourself with a group of great people.
