Goodhandys

I just got the phone call from the last person to confirm for Saturday’s show, and was feeling creative, so I made a collage.

It’s a great line-up – Miss Conception, Tyler Uptight, Brian Bedside Manners, Mr. El Convento Rico 2004 Renzo Garcia, Burlesque Entertainer Bridgit (her performance at Degender-it was a show-stopper) and Mandy Goodhandy.

I have also updated the Event Calendar – we are almost entirely booked in advance until December. So entertainers out there who may want to get a booking, e-mail me, or come into the club some night and talk.

I have also included text links to the performers photos so you know visually who you can expect to see on the stage when you come to Goodhandy’s.

Just a last minute note to say we have a stellar line-up tonight: Amanda and Felicia (from the Freaks) are our female impersonators, Tyler and Brian are our Trans Men performers, and tonight we have the lovely Dainty doing a burlesque number. Our goal is to bring in one burlesque entertainer on Saturdays, to round off our already diverse mix. And of course tonight’s show is hosted by the always hilarious Mandy Goodhandy.

Quick breakdown of this week’s schedule:

Tonight – Wednesday – Battling Boys Live Week 9
We’ve done away with the swimming pool and the baby oil, and replaced them with brand new wrestling mats. This will hopefully keep things a little less messy… Doors open at 9pm, model auditions and general mayhem could start around 10pm, and the show definitely starts by 11pm.

Thursday – Diamond Girls at Goodhandy’s, visit this link to see photos of this week’s Diamond Girls. Followed by a midnight show featuring Kiana Dior and for her first time on the Goodhandy’s stage, Kayla.

Friday – Tranaoke – Week 3. We have increased the quantity of available songs, due to a lot of hard work by Renee-nay, so come on by and check out this unique karaoke event from 9:30pm to 11pm. At midnight Tyler and Flare will be presenting “Kings Gone Wild”, and after that, dance with DJ Nikki Red.

Saturday – The Gender-Bender Revue show at midnight, starring Mandy Goodhandy, Tyler, Brian, Amanda and Felicia (from the Freaks) and a lovely burlesque entertainer. Dance with DJ David (formerly DJ Delicious, he is in the midst of changing his name, for now we’ll just call him David).

Nice gallery from this weekend – King Flare made his debut appearance at Goodhandy’s. Wish I had been there, but I will be there from now on every Saturday.

I have posted galleries from Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from this week. I am going up north for a couple days, so expect to see Saturday night’s gallery in the middle of the week.

Tonight we are happy to have Toronto Drag King sensation Flare appearing on our stage for the first time. Flare was a judge for us in our Miss Shemale World Pageant several years back and we have kept in touch. He has been too busy to perform thus far, but we hope tonight’s appearance is not his only one.

Also appearing tonight is T-Girl Angee (some of you around town know her as “Deja Vu”), Brian Bedside Manners, and Mandy Goodhandy will be doing a couple numbers as well.
